Yes that’s right, Wikimedia built earlier an app for Wikipedia on Android, and they made it an open source. One of RIM employees @Gordtanner planned to port this open source code to the PlayBook, he had some issues doing this but he managed to fix it

He announced his progress on twitter, then later Wikimedia mobile over twitter contacted him asking him to join an IRC talk with them. Maybe they could deal with him to submit the App to the AppWorld soon!
