Google’s Director of Android User Experience admits BlackBerry is the best QWERTY smartphone
BlackBerry has been always unique it’s not only about BlackBerry Messenger. But also the amazing keyboard that made the BlackBerry Messenger experience much better and made our life easier. Many devices now are turning full touch screen devices. Touch screen is a great revolution in the technology however it’s still not the best choice for all of us. Also not a good choice for business people at all. Yes many smartphones now offer Auto-correct and Predictive typing to help but still a virtual keyboard on screen causes many errors that can ruin a business image when sending an official email. Google’s Director of Android User Experience feels the same as us and said that BlackBerry has the best QWERTY keyboard ever and would be happy if Research in Motion manufactured some devices with QWERTY keyboard and installed Android on them. Here is what he said;
“If RIM wanted to work on Android devices, I would really welcome that. They clearly make great physical keyboards. I am still a huge fan of hardware keyboards,” Duarte told ABC News in an interview. “Many of the products I have worked on in the past have had them. I think there is a place for them — it’s all about choice and different types of devices. I would love, personally, to have a portrait oriented device, like we made at Palm.”
