Don’t Abbreviate the Religious Words with BlackBerry

We as Egyptians, also Arabs care a lot about religion, whether we are Muslims, or Christians. We use Religious Terms daily in everything, and in every BBM Chat!

Some of the words could be like “Thanks God” (in Arabic: Alhmd Lel Allah) which many of us may just write it as “El7 or Elh” just to save his time in writing it. Same goes for “Inshaa Allah” which many of us may write it as “isa” instead.

Our Great BlackBerry devices from OS 4.6 to OS 7.1 comes packed with “Auto Text” or “Word Substitution” where you can add abbreviations and your BlackBerry will replace them with the full word once you write them.

To add your own ones on OS 6/7/7.1 devices head to Settings –> Typing & Language –> Word Substitution –> New –>
In the Replace field: Write “isa” without quotes for example.
In the value field Write “Inshaa Allah” without quotes.
While it’s better to say the full word yourself as you gain more merits. You may use this way better than just leaving it as “isa”

For OS 4 to 5 Go to Settings –> Auto Text –> do the rest the same as OS 6,7,7.1
