Battery Saving Mode? Comes with the new Bold 9790 OS Release!
There is a new feature in the latest released OS7.1 for the Bold 9790 where you’ve got a new option in the settings called Battery Saving Mode, according to the description in the settings it says it will save your Battery life once it’s running on low power. Actually that’s a great plan from RIM to save the BlackBerries Battery life specially after their life dropped fast from those of OS6 devices. Specially that our devices can now run WiFi Hotspot which is a Battery killer!
We are not sure yet how the Battery Saving Mode, saves the Battery, maybe it would lower the power consumed on getting better coverage. It will work only once your hit a low battery and if you switched the mode on. As we all know the BlackBerry as an Enterprise smartphone consumes loads of power to catch weak coverage and make it of the best quality so such a feature will do great things!
